Compliments of Survival4Chicks – Cookin’ with one hand, shootin’ with the other. There are lots of reasons for getting back to basics. Maybe you just want to sample how your grandmother used to do things, just for the fun of it. But you may also have a need to do or make things around the house in a simpler “old-fashioned” manner. The more common reason lately is the impending sense of doom we are all feeling. Our government isn’t living within its means and they continue to grab more power and take more freedoms.
Survival4Chicks was born of the want and need of many people to get prepared for the worst. I’m Gayle and while I’m the CEO at Survival4Chicks, I go by the “Chief Pistol Packin’ Mama”. While the issues we’re dealing with are quite serious, there’s nothing wrong with having a little bit of fun while we do what needs to be done. Most of the material and classes out there are geared toward the men. We chicks need our own place!
Our slogan is “Cookin’ with one hand, shootin’ with the other”. We chose this particular slogan because, at Survival4Chicks, we’re teaching women both the domestics of a TEOTWAWKI scenario as well as self- and household-defense. We’ll not only show you how to make do with what you do have but how to create what you don’t have or can’t get.
We also offer in-person gun training classes…for women only. While many of our men our very supportive of our desire to learn good shooting skills, being at a range or in a classroom with all that testosterone can be intimidating when we’re learning. Our classes are women-only (students and instructors), low-stress, fun, and most of all extremely educational.
